About

As a kid I grew up watching slide shows with an antique projector and a white sheet, starring in awe at the amazing pictures from my Dad’s and friends travels. While I was in high school, I got my first camera, an all manual off brand Phoenix 35mm for use in some photography classes.

After high school, without access to a dark room I picked up a point and shoot digital camera, which was fun but not really what I wanted. While in the military I finally had more of a budget, so I purchased my first DSLR and fell madly in love. It’s been a long learning process, with photography being a hobby between work and sleep.

I enjoy all types of photography, but I’ve learned that all my favorite photos involve people. Portrait photography has become my passion, and while I still enjoy all forms of photography, it is where I now concentrate my time.
